Creative Portrait Lighting Workshop III.

The long awaited followup to Zero One Studio’s Creative Portrait Lighting Workshop has finally been given a date! This summer we are presenting another full day workshop class AND an advanced class to further build on lighting, posing and directing techniques covered in the first series.

Creative Portrait Lighting Workshop (Full day workshop)
- Saturday July 12th 2008 10am -6pm

We will fill your head full with lighting principles, purposes and techniques, the “What, Why and How” of creative lighting as it applies to producing eye-catching dynamic portraits. This full-day, student-focused workshop is limited to just a handful of participants to guarantee everyone receives personalized instruction and assisted shooting time with PROFESSIONAL models. The Workshop will be taught by two knowledgeable and experienced people photographers (Christopher Ferguson and Steven Noreyko), exposing you to different workflows and offering their combined experience to your benefit. You will leave a better portrait photographer with tons of lighting know-how!

  • Learn the “What, Why and How” of creative lighting, Both in studio and on-location
  • Pre-Visualization, Conceptualization and creative problem solving
  • Learn basic and advanced lighting techniques, and get hands on experience with a range of equipment
  • Develop your own artistic approach to composing dynamically lit and interesting portraits
  • Create amazing photos with professional models for use in your portfolio and websites

Registration is now open. Cost is $325 ($250 for students with ID) and includes lunch and model releases for our professional models.
